OUR STORY
Tapped Apple is owned by Corey Martin and Wells Mounday. Corey and Wells met while their kids were playing school baseball together. They hit it off and started having backyard family BBQs. Both liked hard cider, but were turned off by the overly sweet, low-alcohol ciders commercially available at the time.
The two decided they could do better, so they started making cider in the garage. The first batches were a little rough, but the men stuck with it and over the years perfected their craft.
When friends and neighbors who had tried the cider started asking for kegs to be served at events and parties, the duo decided to make a go of it, and Tapped Apple Cider was born.
Our ciders are made from fresh pressed juice which is flash pasteurized then fermented at our cider house in Salida, CA. This allows us to avoid the use of harsh chemicals and preservatives and to maintain the crisp fresh apple taste and aromas we all love.
